If you don’t change, life will change you, but not on your terms.
Change is the essence of life; it is inevitable and takes place every day.
No progress can take place without change, the better prepared you are the faster it will be.
CBCS (Choice Based Credit System)

The total credits for B.Com – Gen and B.Com- Comp programmes are 138
The total credits for B.Sc programmes are 158
- In the 6th SEM for all the programmes, the core papers were distributed as general electives and cluster electives.

The above table indicates the absolute grading system. Here the marks for each grade are pre - determined.
In the relative grading system, there are no marks fixed for any grade. Here, the range of marks between the top scorer and the bottom scorer will be taken and no marks are fixed for any grade.
This relative grading is found not very popular with the students and with the employers.
Absolute grading has greater patronage than relative grading.
Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is a measure of overall cumulative performance of a student all the semesters (i.e., for 6 sems). The CGPA is the ratio of total credit points secured by a student in various courses in all semesters and the sum of the total credits of all courses in all the semesters.
CGPA is mentioned on provisional certificates
The SGPA and CGPA shall be rounded off to 2 decimal points and reported in the transcripts (i.e., Consolidate Marks Memo – CMM)
From 2018 batch the distribution of internal assessment marks has been done in the following manner:
